Scott is a Partner and Content Lead for Praxis, a creative engine for redemptive entrepreneurship. Each year, Praxis runs Accelerator programs to equip leaders from 24 early-stage businesses and nonprofits; Praxis Academy, which invests in 200 undergraduates from over 50 schools; and the Alternative Imagination Summit, a forum for thinkers and entrepreneurs to explore the intersection of theology, culture, and entrepreneurship. Scott serves as a core mentor to our Fellows in the areas of vocation and role clarity, organization strategy and story, content and brand strategy, and the theological and cultural foundations for their ventures. He is also managing editor for the Praxis Course and the Praxis Journal.
Scott’s admiration for founders blossomed during his eight years as the Vice President of Content and Strategy for Redeemer City to City, a leadership development agency for church planters in global cities, where he served as Tim Keller’s lead editor and content architect. He began his career with 18 years at Accenture in technology, change management, global program management, and innovation. After that, he coached and consulted for nonprofit and business leaders. Just prior to joining Praxis, he led Understory, a software startup focused on interactive content and learning. He served for a decade on the board of Q, a learning community of Christians seeking personal and cultural renewal. Scott lives with his wife and two teenagers in Manhattan, where they attend Redeemer Presbyterian Church.
